Worklist

The worklist is the screen you will live in. It is a live table of imaging studies for your organization. One row is one study. Filters, search, and actions all start here.

Finding a study

Filters sit at the top of the table. Text search covers patient name, study description, and whatever else your deployment indexes. Status filters for New, Ready, Reporting, or Finalized. Site matters when you can see more than one site. Date range is usually study or acquisition date. Modality is CT, MR, and the rest.

If a study seems gone, clear the filters and widen the date range before you escalate. Studies rarely disappear. They sit behind a filter you forgot was on.

Reading a row

Each row carries the patient as your site shows names and identifiers, the study description with modality and date, a status label, and the actions your permissions allow right now.

Status is where the study sits in the day. New means it arrived and still needs triage. Ready means someone verified it and a radiologist can open it. Reporting means a draft report exists. Finalized means the report is complete. You can usually still open the study for review, but ordinary reporting is done.

Opening a study

Click a row for study detail. From there you can review or edit demographics when you have permission and the patient is not locked, mark the study ready when triage is clean, and open Prism with the study already loaded.

Opening Prism uses your current session. There is no second login for ordinary use. If you lack image permission, the viewer action stays disabled instead of failing halfway through a load.

Shared studies

Some sites can share a study outside your usual filters. Shared rows usually show a visual hint so you know why they appeared. Treat them as intentional hand-offs, not filter bugs.

Two habits that save time

Clear filters before you declare a study missing. Open Prism from a study you already verified, not from a New row you meant to fix first.
